ABOUT WADE
Wade Million is an award-winning American environmental and travel photographer with a passion for the great outdoors, science communications, and adventure sports (rock climbing & diving). After graduating with a Communications Media degree and spending several years working in marketing, Wade decided to trade his desk job for a backpack, camera and one-way ticket to Asia in 2011. The following 5 years of nomadic living led to countless adventures and photo opportunities around the globe; and the eventual pursuit of a career in conservation and sustainability.
In 2020, Wade completed his M.Sc. in Sustainable Resource Management, and has worked on environmental contracts funded by various organizations including the United Nations, the European Union, and the Bavarian State Department of Forestry.
His photos have been featured in magazines, newspapers, and websites in several countries; and he continues to seek out photography projects promoting science, conservation, culture, and sustainable travel.
